Selecting a database with the Data Dictionary

You can select a working database with the Data Dictionary when using either a graphical or character interface.

To select a working database with the Data Dictionary when using a graphical interface:

Access the Data Dictionary. The Data Dictionary displays the connected databases and their tables and fields.
Select the database you want for the working database.

To select a working database with the Data Dictionary when using a character interface:

Access the Data Dictionary. The Data Dictionary appears.
Choose Database Select a Working Database. OpenEdge lists the connected databases.
Select the new working database, then choose Enter to return to the Data Dictionary main window.
